THE FILM

In this movie "Ki" and "Mana exist in the same world!

KI = [The Japanese word "ki" from Chinese Qi, the originally Chinese cultural concept meaning "life force" or "spiritual energy"]

MANA = [Modern fantasy fiction, computer and role-playing games, has adopted "mana" as a term for magic points - an expendable resource out of which magic users form their magical spells]

In this world when a child reaches the age of 12 they are given a chance to make a very important decision that can and will affect them for the rest of their life.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A person whom chooses to learn "Ki":

Will have to focus on the body and mind and learn how to bring out and control their own inner spirit energy which in turn can affect the body in many ways. Anything from an energy blast from their hands or super speed and strenghth.

A person whom chooses to learn "Mana" (magic):

Will have to focus more on communicating with the spirits around them. Studing magic takes more of a patient mind. Confining themselves to many, many hours of study.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Neither one is better than the other it is simply a way of life. Now there are those that have chosen neither one and remain normal per say. These people are refered to as "Norms".

In the mix of all this there is a LEGEND of a man who has some how managed to learn both "Ki" and "Mana"! Only known to be seen during the great war of Kimana this individual was sited several times wiping out entire armies of ki and mana users. Is this legend true or just a myth? No one knows for sure but this legend does have a name.... Juidar Huidar.
